Unemployed, formerly journeyman, James Innes, gunsmith, Princes Street, Edinburgh Unstated Tried: Edinburgh, 12 Feb 1816, Transportation – 7 years Per Ship: Shipley, 20 Dec 1816, New South Wales. --------------------------------------------------------------  Feb. 12—James Duff, journeyman gunsmith in Edinburgh, accused of stealing two fowling-pieces, and various other articles, from Junes Co. his employers, was put to the bar. He pleaded guilty; and verdict to that effect being found,  was sentenced to seven years transportation. The Scots Magazine, 1 Feb 1816.
