Court of Quarter Sessions. John Hall, and Jane Hall, his Wife, stand indicted for receiving certain articles, the property of Captain, Hunter, knowing them to be stolen. John Hall, Not guilty.  Jane Hall, Guilty, and sentenced to be transported to a penal settlement for Three Years. Sydney Monitor, 10 Oct 1836.

Moreton Bay Convict Register. Jane Duffy or Hall, convicted in this colony in the name of Jane Hall, per Asia 7, tried at Down, Summer 1828, for Grand Larceny, 7 years. All work. Colonial Conviction: Quarter Sessions, Sydney, 6 Oct 1836 for Receiving stolen goods. 3 year sentence. Returned to Sydney, No date recorded.
