Jane Duncan is recorded in the list of Expired or Emancipated convicts and free persons off stores in 1801, as an expired convict, having arrived per Indespensible, and resident in Sydney

Jane Duncan’s final record in the colony is one of 8 women without children having the Governor’s Permission to embark on board HMS Glatton in April 1803 as the partner of one of the reduced soldiers of the NSW Corps returning to England. It has not been determined which soldier was her partner.
