The first person put forward was Margaret Dunn, charged with stealing the priest’s alb, amice, &c. out of the chapel of Ennis—Guilty. The Pilot, 29 Feb 1832. ENNIS ASSIZES. Summary of convictions up to Monday evening:— … —to be transported for 7 years each. Margaret Dunne for stealing a Priest’s vestment—same sentence.  Kerry Evening Post, 3 March 1832.
