Irish Convict Database by Peter Mayberry. James Dwyer, Atlas II 1802, Tried at LImerick, 1800, Life. Irish Rebel. Found in 1811 muster. ---------------------------------------------------- In her book “Unfinished Revolution: United Irishmen in New South Wales, 1800-1810”, Anne-Maree Whitaker wrote: "Five men from Atlas II were listed as free by 1806. Charles Barrington was working at Parramatta hospital and George Jackson was a labourer a the same settlement. James Dwyer was working on Captain Daniel Woodriff’s farm at Penrith, James Cullen was a settler on Norfolk Island, and Michael Connor was farming 265 acres." ------------------------------------------------------- Convict Index.
