Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Elphinstone' arriving 24 May 1836. Married man - wife Ann at native place near York. 2 children. Assignments in the Colony. Several notes of misconduct. Ticket of Leave 1847 - was in the Launceston district.
