City Grand Jury. Denis Enright, for stealing two pigs from Richard O’Shaughnessy—Guilty. Limerick Chronicle, 14 March 1829. The following convicts from the City Limerick Gaol, were this morning transmitted under a military escort to the prison ship at Cove, previous to being forwarded to Botany Bay:—John Hogan, larceny, Patrick Meagher, pig stealing, John Hegarty and Peter Garvey, geese stealing, John Walsh, sheep stealing, James Maddigan, larceny, , Denis Enright, pig stealing, Joseph Fitzgerald, larceny, to be transported for seven years— William Cluff : 36th Regt, assault with intent to murder, death recorded ; Thomas Hickey, seizing arms. Limerick Chronicle, 6 May 1829.
