Patrick Fahy, the prisoner of the crown, remanded from yesterday, was again arraigned to-day. He was taken into custody at Melbourne on board a steamer, by Inspector Singleton, and brought to Sydney. Mr. Harvey identified the prisoner' as Patrick Fahy, by the ship Pekoe,in 1840, an i sentenced to 14 years. He abscondedfrom the Ordnance boats' crew attached to Goat Island, on the 30th June, 1853, and had been at large since that period. Sentenced to be worked in irons on the roads or other public works of the colony for three months. Sydney Morning Herald, 4 July 1855.

The Garrison of Dublin was paraded on Saturday, to hear the following sentences by Courts Martial promulgated by Major White, Town and Brigade Major, viz.:—John Harrison 5th Fusiliers, marked with the letter D, to be transported for life. Patrick Fahy, 22d, to be transported for 14 years ;R. Dane, 38th, for striking his captain, sentenced to be shot, commuted to transportation; James Miller, 38th, to be transported for life ; John Horrigan, 38th, to be transported for 14 years , J. Lamb, 42d, to be transported for 7 years ; George Rutherford, 92d, to be transported for life ; Andrew Steward, 79th, to be transported for 14 years ; Michael McManus, 99th, to be transported for 14 years. All for desertion, or for striking their superior officers. Globe, 9 May 1840.
