Manchester Mercury Lancashire, England 6 Jul 1819 John Fielding, charged with having in his possession at Manchester, three forged Bank of England notes for one pound each ; also with having procured twelve base half crowns and seven base shillings, with intent to utter the same. John Fielding was listed as 58 years old on arrival. Native Place: Lancashire. John was 5'10½" tall, fair pale complexion, grey hair, hazel eyes. John was assigned to work as a weaver at the Female Factory. Colonial Secretary Index: FIELDING, John.
