At Salisbury assizes, before Lord Chief Justice Kenyon, …William Smith, for stealing wearing apparel: and Michael Fishlock, for stealing a quantity of beans, were sentenced to be transported for seven years. Bath Chronicle, 6 Aug 1789 Richard Cook Shergold, and Michael Fishlock, charged on oath with feloniously breaking and entering the granary of Thomas Brown at Coate, and stealing a quantity of beans, his property.
