Thomas Flanaghan, 44 Reg. 11 years in the army, 5 ft 8. age 24, Laborer, Tried Ghazepore Ct. Martial, 22 Dec 1837. 7 years. Native place, Meath. Single. Catholic. Can both read and write. Transported for desertion 1st offence. Father Christopher a soldier in the 44 Reg. -------------------------------------------------- Convict Conduct Record. CON35-1-1 Image 215. 930. Thomas Flannigan, arrived 13 Dec 1838, Guillardon. Tried Ghazepoor Ct Martial 22 Dec 1837, 7 years. Tried 31 Oct 1844 – ext. 12 months. Gives his age as 20. He was pock pitted, and had 2 scars inside rt arm. Gives description. July 19 1839, Constable, misconduct, admonished. Sept 2 1839, Constable, misconduct, suspended from duty and recomm.
