Family connections for Michael (Ford) are: FORD Micheal (Ford) was born about 1791/4 at Longford Longford co.Ireland & became a clerk. As Michail (Ford) joined 71st Foot Soldiers 1st Battalion Ireland Military on 9 9 1810. He was living at Langford London when tried for coining (counterfeiting) & sentenced on 16 4 1817 to 14years at Old Bailey & held at London Gaol Delivery & ship BELLEPHON PLACE at Woolwich Thames London; he arrived in NSW as a convict on 22 11 1817 after a voyage of 4months on LARKINS; he was 5'6.5" florid and freckled complexion brown hair hazel eyes. He married Mary Ann (Cobcroft) on 7 11 1820 at St Matthews CofE Windsor. He was issued his Ticket of Leave no.1499 & Certificate of Freedom no.1509. He was issued his Absolute Pardon on 22 9 1821. He was admitted to Sydney Gaol on 10 8 1836. He is recorded at Wilberforce in 1841. He died on 11 9 1865 age about74 at Windsor & buried at St Matthews CofE Windsor.
