Written across the Ticket. Committed for Murder at Liverpool 25 Sept 1832. Murder of Thos Bradford assigned servant to Richard Brooks Esq. Denham Court
Hill’s Life in New South Wales. Fri 9 Nov 1832. Page 3. EXECUTION.
EXECUTION.
On Monday morning, Edward Fordham, for the murder of Thomas Bradford, was executed according to his sentence. He appeared rather sullen hardly conscious of the excitement around him. The military
guard did not arrive till ten o’clock, when the culprit was immediately led out, and after a few minutes spent in prayer, he ascended the scaffold. The Rev. Mr. M’Eon then in his name acknowledged the justice of his sentence, and begged the prayers of the faithful for the repose of his soul. The rope and cap were
directly after adjusted, and the murderer was launched into eternity.
