Henry was married in England.  He married Mary Potterton at Brighton, Sussex, England, Sep 3 1811.  They had a family of 6 children prior to Henry being indicted for Larceny .

In 1829 Henry petitioned the government in an attempt to bring his wife and family to the colony. 
Permission was granted and Mary with her 5 surviving children arrived in the colony on the ship “Burrell” 20 May 1832.
