Mary and Robert had 8 children between 1807 and 1819.

Robert (Anderson) arrived as a private on BODDINGTON on 7 8 1793.  He achieved the rank of Ensign in 1800 & was moved to Norfolk Island in 1802.  In 1804 he was detached to (Townson)s company at Norfolk Island or Sydney: in 1805 he was at Sydney, where his application to resign was rejected; & he was detached to (Savory)s company.  He tookleave from 1805-8 & was at Port Dalrymple in 1806.  In 1808 he was discharged & moved to Van Diemens Land in that year where he leased 23rods at Barrack St in 1809.  In 1805 his housekeeper was Mary (Franklin) free by Servitude whom he married in 1810.  Robert died in 1839 in NSW.

The Anderson family consisted of:
Robert was born in United Kingdom about 1771.  He arrived in NSW as a soldier on BODDINGTON in 1793.
Mary (Franklin) was born in United Kingdom about 1788.  She arrived in NSW as a convict on EARL CORNWALLIS in 1801, apparantly at the age of 13.
Robert (now with 73rd Regiment) & Mary (now an emancipist) married at St Philips Sydney on 19th March 1810.  They produced 8children:-
1.Phoebe (Anderson) was born in 1804.  She married John (Clegg his 2nd marriage) a convict from SHIPLEY on 25 7 1825 at St Lukes Liverpool & produced 1child. She died on 28 7 1880 age about 76.
2.Gerald (Anderson) was born on 28 8 1807 & baptised on 25 12 1807 at St Philips Sydney.  He died 15 8 1877 just before his 70th birthday.
3.Thomas (Anderson) was born on 12 4 1810 & baptised on 25 12 1810 at St Phillips Sydney.  He died on 24 4 1815 just after his 5th birthday.
Robert is now with 73rd Regiment & Mary is free by Servitude .
4.Ann (Anderson) was born on 3 12 1812 & baptised on 25 12 1812 at St Lukes Liverpool.  She died on 10 11 1813 age 11months.
5.Robert (Anderson) was born on 2 8 1814 & baptised on 12 3 1815 at St Lukes Liverpool.  He died on 24 6 1866 age51.
6.Mary Ann (Anderson) was born on 16 1 1816 & baptised on 13 5 1816 at St Lukes Liverpool.  He died on 3 3 1899 age83.
7.Maria (Anderson) was born on 16 2 1817 & baptised on 8 8 1819 age2.5 with br.George at St Lukes Liverpool.  She died on 11 5 1893 age76.
8.George (Anderson) was born on 4 6 1819 & baptised on 8 8 1819 with si.Maria at St Lukes Liverpool.  He died on 20 1 1857 age35.
