Margaret Gannon, of Carlow County, ireland was tried 1836 at County Kildare for stealing ducks.
She was found guilty, sentenced to 7 years and transported on the “Margaret” which left Ireland January 24 1837 and arrived at Sydney Cove, May 30 1837.
