115191 Gardner William Boston - Strathfieldsaye 1836. 1835 London Central Criminal Court. Minutes of Evidence .
Sentenced to transportation for Life for stealing watch chain, seals, lancet cases, writing desk, money etc belonging to James Bailey, surgeon on 4th November at St. George, Bloomsbury. Gardner’s aunt Ann Kench Chapman testified at his trial stating that Gardner was very poor and that his grandmother provided for him as he had no money of his own.
