Belfast Quarter Sessions. Daniel Burns, Robert Burns, Patrick Burns, Mary Burns, Thomas Gillian, and James Murray, for receiving, and having in their possession, several articles of clothing,  the property of Miss Eliza Rogers and others. Miss Rogers deposed, that her house, at Lisburn, was broken into on the morning of 11th March last, and eight dresses, two cloaks, some quilts, one pair of blankets, nine silver spoons, and a fruit-knife, with some other articles, carried off. Some of the articles that had been found in the house of the prisoners, by John Kane, a day-constable, wore identified by Miss Rodgers, as her property. Mary Burns acquitted, the rest guilty ; Daniel and Patrick Burns, to be to be imprisoned twelve months; Robt. Burns, Thos. Gillian, and James Murray, to be transported for seven years.
