1847 - Death, 14 December 1847. Mary Milner, aged 32 years old. Wife of a Labourer 1847 - Possible death Launceston Examiner. Wed 15 Dec 1847. Page 2 LAUNCESTON EXAMINER, SUDDEN DEATH.-A female, named Mary Milner, residing at the lower end of Brisbane street, dropped dead suddenly on Monday morning. An inquest was held on the following day at the " Hibernia," when a verdict was returned that death was occasioned by disease of the brain, induced by excessive drinking.
