Bridget Goodman was 24 years old on arrival in VDL, she was transported for ‘Stealing a cheque from J Barnes at Wicklow’.
Bridget was single, 4’11¾” tall, florid complexion, literate, black hair, hazel eyes, small mole left side of mouth.
Sisters: Mary Ann, Sarah at native place: Wicklow County.
4/9/1843: Gave birth to a male child, no name given.
30/9/1845: Permission to marry William Knight (Mangles 1840).
27/10/1845: Married at St. Joseph’s Church, Hobart.
15/11/1849: Free Certificate.
9/10/1855: Death listed for William Knight, aged 36, died of Disease of the Heart, a sawyer - Hobart.
11/2/1856: Married Benjamin Hall, aged 45, a sawyer, at the Franklin. Bridget Knight was a widow, aged 33.
6/5/1861: Death of Bridget Hall, aged 42, of Dropsey, at Franklin, wife of Benjamin Hall.
