John Gorman was born C1766, or 1775, or 1772~according to his death certificate.

GORMAN, John. Per “Lord Sidmouth”, 1821

1825 Mar 1: Servant of Thomas Gorman of Macquarie Street, Parramatta; attestation as to his character for a ticket of leave (Reel 6027; 4/1716.2 p.184)

John was about 55 on arrival, no crime details available, born Meath County.

1825: TOL

21/8/1827: COF

26/7/1833: Married Judith Breslaw/Breslan (Forth 1830).

1842: NSW BDM - died aged 70.

Sentenced 13 July 1820 -  In company of 3 others raided a house in Leixlip belonging to Robert Law and at gunpoint stole house linen ,table linen , wearing apparel , spoons etc etc ......daughter later identified him ,despite her being blind, as he was the one who pistol-whipped her
