John Gorman, free by servitude, indicted for breaking and entering the dwelling house of Mr Thomas English, of Cawdor, and stealing property to a considerable amount. Guilty- Fifteen years to a penal settlement. John Gorman, free by servitude, was indicted for breaking into the dwelling house of Mr. Thomas Inglis, near the Stonequarry, and stealing various property in the night time, with several other persons (several were convicted last sessions). It appeared that the prisoner was connected with a desperate gang of house robbers, both bushrangers and assigned servants in the neighbour-hood of the Oaks. The jury found him guilty - fifteen years transportation. SUMMARY JURISDICTION -William Cain, convict, for having fire arms in possession, and not able to answer for them transported for life.
