Frederick Gould, Elias Gould, James Drewett, were charged with maliciously striking the head of John French, of Dalwood, with a mattock, with intent to do him some grievous bodily harm. After the examination of several witnesses, the Jury returned a verdict guilty against all the prisoners.— ….
