National Records of Scotland Title Precognition against James Graham, Alexander Anderson for the crime of theft, habit and repute, and previous conviction Dates 1838 Accused James Graham, Age: 15, weaver, Address: Resides with uncle in Bell Street, Glasgow, Origin: Bridgeton Alexander Anderson, Age: 16, weaver, Address: Resides with mother, Old Wynd, Glasgow, Origin: Glasgow Alexander Anderson, Verdict: Guilty, Verdict Comments: Guilty in terms of own confession, Sentence: Transportation - 7 years. Note: Pannel cannot write. James Graham, Verdict: Guilty, Sentence: Transportation - 7 years. Alexander Anderson arrived VDL per 'Pyramus' 1839. James Graham was 15 years old on arrival (From Ancestry Indents) although he was listed as 15 when tried 2 years earlier. Native Place: Glasgow.
