Alice Hallisey was 42 years old on arrival in VDL and was transported for ‘Stealing 2 shirts from a {Judge} I committed this crime in order to follow my Husband’. Have not located her husband, he could have been sent to NSW). Alice was 5’0 3/4” tall, brown hair, blue eyes, fresh complexion, scar across nose. Native place was Tipperary. 9/8/1843: Permission to marry John Hawkins (free) – no registration. 7/1/1845: TOL 6/4/1845: Permission to marry William Tomlinson (Prince of Orange) – no registration. No date of death found.
