Francis Hand was 23 years old on arrival in NSW, his occupation was a 'Bleacher'. Colonial Secretary Papers: HAND, Francis. Per "Daphne", 1819 1819 Sep 28: On list of convicts disembarked from the "Daphne" and forwarded to Liverpool; for the public roads (Reel 6006; 4/3500 p.276) 14/7/1825: COF 2/11/1833 The Sydney Monitor: Francis Hand was indicted for stealing 10 dollars, 16 half crowns, and 40 shillings, at Sydney, on the Ist of October, the property of Hugh Carline. The Jury returned a verdict of – Not Guilty.
