The Convict Indentures state that Bridget Hanley was 24 years old.  She could not read or write; religion Roman Catholic; status single and a native of county Limerick. She was a dairy maid. Bridget was convicted of sheep stealing at Limerick City at the Hilary Session 1838 and sentenced to 15 years.  She had no prior convictions.  Physical attributes: Height 5 feet 2 3/4 inches; complexion dark ruddy and freckled; hair dark brown and eyes hazel.  Transport number 83.  Prisoner number 82-39. 
Comment on indenture entry; Sister to 81 (Margret Hanley) and brother to John Hanley, a prisoner 7 years.
