CRIME: Larceny - Stealing a set of harness; previous convictions for stealing a coat (one month in jail) and shirts (13 months). Recommended for a Pardon in 1844; he was granted a Free Certificate 10 December 1852. Inquest at Hobart on 29 March 1870 determined his death was accidental (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON31-1-21$init=CON31-1-21p98).
