This John Harrington arrived in Sydney in the Surprize. The reference is ‘NSW State Records, Sentenced beyond the Seas, Alphabetical Indents. ‘Harrington, John / Tried: Taunton [Somerset Quarter Sessions] / 3 Oct 1786 / Term: 7 years / [Per] Surprize 1.’
