William HARRISON was convicted at Hobart, Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on 5 Feb 1836 for committing an unnatural act. 2yr prison term. To serve at Bridgewater Chain Gang and spend nights in cell. William was recorded as having arrived in the Colony as a free person on the ship 'Calendonia' 1835. Aged 26yrs; house servant/cook; 5'6 3/4"; Protestant; can read & write. Father - a farmer, at native place in England. Brothers - Christian & James Native place of birth: Wisbech or W...beach (?)
