Stephen Hatcher was 28 years old when indicted for machine breaking and riotous assembly. Stephen was one of the people involved in the Dorset Swing Riots. He was baptised at Stower Provost on 1/6/1802 the son of John and Rachael Dowding who married in March 1793. 1836: TOL Field of Mars. 3/8/1839: COF.
