Anne-Maree Whitaker, in her book “Unfinished Revolution: United Irishmen in New South Wales, 1800-1810” wrote: ... Hugh Hayes, Dennis Molloy, George Russell and Grimes Tierney are identified in Irish records as part of a group which conducted armed raids in east Limerick in March 1800.
