The Convict Indentures state that Edmond Haynes was 20 years old. He could read and write; religion Protestant; status Single and a native of Dublin. He could seaman and soldier. He was convicted in County Cork on 29 March 1828 of house robbery (stealing a watch) and convicted to 7 years. He had no prior convictions. Physical attributes: 5 feet 4 inches; complexion dark ruddy and freckled; hair brown and eyes brown. Transport number 119.
Assigned to Mr William Birch, D. A. B. G., Sydney.
Received ticket of leave in 1838 (number 38/505). Certificate of Leave received in 1842 (number 42/2056).
