Richard (Henley) was born on 21 3 1815 at Shoreditch Middlesex the son of John (Henley) & Eleanor (Gobart).  He was convicted in London for stealing 6chairs from his employer & transported for 7years to Australia on ROYAL SOVEREIGN in 1835.  In about 1853 he arrived in Bathurst.  He worked as a dyer, sawyer & goldminer.  He married Mary (Chapman) on 14 10 1841, her first marriage, at Scots church Patison & produced 6children.  His death occurred on 6 8 1855 at Wattle Flat Sofala where he was buried.
Information about Mary (Chapman) is scarce, but she ‘came free’ & her second marriage is noted below.
The children of Richard (Henley) & Mary (Chapman) were:
1.Mary Jane (Henley) was born on 12 10 1841 at Sydney.
2.Richard Joseph (Henley) was born on 27 9 1843 at Hunter Valley (St Clair nr Singleton) or Sydney.  He married Mary Ann (Reynolds) on 10 8 1862 at Bathurst & produced 12children while working as as a gold digger & storeman.  He died on 10 7 1893 age about 50 at Redfern & was buried at RC section Rookwood.
  Mary Ann (Reynolds) was born in 1845 at Parramatta to Joseph (Reynolds) & Margaret (Ward).  She died on 13 7 1898 age about 53 at Alexandria & was buried at RC section Rookwood.
  The children of Richard Joseph (Henley) & Mary Ann (Reynolds) were:
1.Richard (Henley) was born in 1863 at Palmers Oakey.  He died on 23 5 1941 age about 78.
2.Margaret (Henley) was born in 1865 at Palmers Oakey & died on 1 7 1865 age<6months.
3.Bridget (Henley) was born in 1866 at Palmers Oakey.
4.Mary Jane (Henley) was born in 1868 at Tambaroora.  She died on 4 9 1838 age about 70.
5.Joseph Eusebious (Henley) was born in 1870 at Tambaroora.  He died on 16 5 1930 age about 59.
6.William Andrew (Henley) was born in 1872 at Tambaroora.  He died on 9 1 1944 age about 81.
7.Caroline Mary (Henley) was born in 1874 at Tambaroora or Palmers Oakey.  She died in 1940 age about 66.
8.Henry (Henley) was born in 1876or7 at Tambaroora or Palmers Oakey.  He died on 22 8 1942 age about 66.
9.Annie (Henley) was born in 1879 at Palmers Oakey & died in that year age<1.

11.Alice Theresa (Henley) was born in 1884 at Waterloo.  She died in 1952 age about 68.
12.Ellen Gertrude (Henley) was born in 1887 at Waterloo.  She also died in 1952 age about 65.
3.Henry (Henley) was born on 25 11 1845 at Hunter Valley (St Clair nr Singleton). He married Emma (Haywood) [or was the bride Susannah (Hazelwood?] on 23 11 1868 at Tambaroomba & produced 12children..  He was a storeman of leather & hides & gold miner.  He died on 5 2 1908 age62? at St Leonards North Sydney & buried at CofE section Gore Hill.
  Emma (Haywood) was born in 1853 in Kent England to John (Haywood) & Ellen (Fielding).  She died on 21 2 1923 age69? at Sydney & was buried at CofE section Rookwood.
  The children of Henry (Henley) & Emma (Haywood) were:
1.Henry (Henley) was born in 1869 Tambaroora.
2.Edith Marion (Henley) was born in 1871 at Tambaroora or Hill End.
3.Richard John (Henley) was born in 1873 at Hill End.
4.Alexander (Henley) was born in 1874 at Hill End.  He died in 1875.
5.Maud M (Henley) was born in 1876 at Hill End.

6.Caroline Victoria (Henley) was born on 24 5 1853 at Goulburn St Sydney.  She married firstly Alexander (McIntyre) on 15 9 1868 at Palmers Oakey or Sofala; who was born on no known date in London England; he died on 2 11 1886 at Balmain where he was buried.
Caroline Victoria (Henley) is shown to have married secondly to William James (Wilkinson) (born 17 2 1874 at Tara, son of Alfred (Wilkinson) & Ester (Byrnes)), presumably after 1866 & before 1868, & produced 3children; which creates a dilemma as he would have been just 14years old at the marriage.  She died on 23 1 1925 age71 at Palmers Oakey where she was buried.  He died on 14 1 1957 age82 at Bathurst, buried at Palmers Oakey.
The children of William James (Wilkinson) & Caroline Victoria (Henley) were:
1.Mary Ellen (Wilkinson) was born on 22 7 1889 at Upper Turon.
2.William James (Wilkinson) was born on 27 12 1893 at Palmers Oakey.
3.Samuel Thomas (Wilkinson) was born on 4 1 1896 at Palmers Oakey.
  Alfred (Wilkinson) father of William James (Wilkinson) was born on 24 3 1842 at Greendale, the son of John (Wilkinson) & Ester (Byrnes).  He was baptised on 5 6 1942 at Cobbity.  He became a teamster who lived in Castlereagh, Tarnear & Ilford before moving to Bathurst about 1895.  He died on 13 June 1910 age68 at Capertee where he was buried.
  Alfred married firstly Harriett (Byrnes) on 13 3 1866 at Castlereagh & produced 3children;
1.Jemima (Wilkinson) was born in 1868 at Penrith.
2.Albert Ernest (Wilkinson) was born on 13 12 1870 at Castlereagh.
3.William James (Wilkinson) was born on 17 2 1874 at Tara. (The William James mentioned above)
  Alfred (Wilkinson) married for a second time to Frances (Dyson nee Mansfield) on 1 5 1895 at Palmers Oakey & produced 4children:
1.Rosiena Matilda (Wilkinson) was born on 21 12 1893 at Ilford.
2.Ester Jane (Wilkinson) was born on 12 11 1896 at Palmers Oakey.
3.Benit Dyson (Wilkinson) was born on 30 6 1899 at Palmers Oakey.
4.Matilda Louisa (Wilkinson) was born on 8 2 1902 at Palmers Oakey.

Mary (Chapman) secondly married James (Dyson) on 7 11 1858 at Palmers Oakey & produced 4 more children.
James (Dyson) was born about 1825 in Dalham Suffolk, the son of Charles (Dyson) & Catherine (Dallas).  He travelled to Australia as a free immigrant in 1848 on CANTON & became a gold miner.  He died on 21 12 1893 age about 68 at Palmers Oakey where he is buried.
The children of James (Dyson) & Mary (Chapman) were:
1.Matilda (Dyson) who was born in 5 10 1856.  She married firstly William (Harvey) on 15 7 1872 at Palmmers Oakey & produced 1child.  She later married again to William (George) in 1876 at Running Stream & produced a further 11children.  She died in 1940 age about 83 at Rylstone.
Matilda (Dyson)‘s children were:
a.Mary Matilda (Harvey) was born on 12 11 1872 at Palmers Oakey.
1.William Benit (George) was born in 1877 at Rylstone.
2.Alfred James (George) was born in 1879 at Rylstone.

5.Frederick W (Dyson) was born in 1895 at Sofala.
6.Albert H (Dyson) was born in 1897 at Sofala.
7.Olive May (Dyson) was born in 1900 at Sofala.
4.Jane (Dyson) who was born on 31 10 1865 at Palmers Oakey.  She married firstly Phillip (Mathews) on 5 6 1889 at Bathurst & produced 2children; & married again to James (Toffort), after producing 2 more children, on 23 8 1911 at Palmers Oakey.  She died on 31 10 1950 age85 exactly at Mudgee where she was buried.
The children of Jane (Dyson) were:
a.Henry Phillip (Mathews) was born in 1890 at Sofala.
b.Albert George (Mathews) was born on 12 3 1894 at Sofala.
1.Margaret Daisy (Toffort) was born on 25 8 1905.

Mary (Chapman) was born about 1825 at Bennet Kent, daughter of James C (Chapman) & Mary (Marshall).  The family emigrated to Australia in about 1835.
