2/4/1836 Gloucestershire Chronicle Gloucestershire, England: John Hitch, a very respectable looking man, was placed at the bar on the charge of forging a bill of exchange with intent to defraud Wm. Norris, of Ledbury. The prisoner pleaded guilty, and he was sentenced to be transported for life.
