Lionel Holdsworth built the house at 1 Bateman St Fremantle and the house is now named after him.
1 Bateman St is Heritage listed as it is in original condition and commands a view over Fremantle like few others built in 1880 Holdsworth had the choice of real estate above the Fremantle convict prison on monument hill.
