Robert was a White Boy rebel,aged 23, convicted at Limerick City in 1819 for attacking and robbing house of Pat Roche, of Killmallock, Limerick county. He was a farmer’s servant, native of Killmallock.
A letter from the commandant of Moreton Bay, dated 15 Aug 1833, refers to List of 3 Three Constables whose Term of Sentence expires at the following dates agreeable to P2 Para Settlement Regulations: Robert Holmes/ “Hadlow”
