The following convicts have been removed to Portsmouth, and put on board the Leviathan hulk:—George Thompson, Charles Waters, Richard Mold, Thomas Mold, and William Smith, for life; Joseph Houghton, Thomas Boddington, and William Jarvis, for 14 years; Thomas Peach, John Wright, John Price, William Twisleton, Charles Duke, for seven years. Northampton Mercury, 7 May 1836.




Joseph was married to Sarah Houghton with 5 children he had brown hair and blue eyes he had been granted his freedom after 14 years and died 15th August 1851 aged 51 of natural causes his life ended in Tasmanian along way from his family RIP I wonder if this is where I get my blues eyes from A Houghton




Convicted with Thomas Boddington both were from Finedon Northamptonshire
