Thomas Howman was followed to VDL by his wife Phoebe, they were married about 1818. They had 2 known children, James 1828 and Esther 1832, born in Tasmania, but apparently Thomas had 3 children and a wife at his native place on his Indent, so I don't know what happened to those children. By 1830 Thomas was being assigned to his wife. 29/7/1834: TOL 10/4/1844: CP In 1853 he was living in Hamilton, Tas., and was also listed as living in Ouse, Tas.
