Family connections for Patrick (Humphreys) are: Some amendments added Aug 2025. HUMPHRIE/EYS Patrick (Humphreys) son of John (Humphrey) & Homory (Roark) was born about 1762/74 in Dublin Ireland. He was tried for stealing lead at Dublin city Ireland, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 7 8 1793 after a voyage of 6months on BODDINGTONS. He became a private for the NSW Corps on 14 3 1801 & was detached to (Prentice)s company. He married Catherine (Mooney/McMahon her second marriage) on 18 2 1802 at St Phillips CofE Sydney. From 1802-5 he was detached to (Kemp)s & (Abbott)s companys & was then at Parramatta where he probably stayed until 1809 when he was detached to No1 company. In 1810 he was transferred to 73rd Regiment. He died in 1846 age about72 at Watsons Bay & was buried at Kincumber South Holy Cross NSW. She arrived in NSW free on 11 1 1800 after a voyage of 4.5 months on MINERVA. She produced perhaps 8children in her lifetime. [Francis (McMahon) was born in 1759 & became a sawyer. He was tried for obtaining money by false pretences at Dublin city/Limerick Assizes, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW with his family on 11 1 1800 after a voyage of 4.5 months on MINERVA. He was a boatbuilder in Sydney when he was baptised again on 13 8 1829 age27 at St Marys RC Sydney & married Sarah (Hence age15) on 26 10 1829 at St James CofE Sydney. He died on 11 8 1860 age56. ..Sarah (Hence) was born about 1814. She arrived in Australia free with her mother on 30 9 1820 after a voyage of 4.5months on MORLEY. She was living in Sydney when she was baptised , as (Humphries), on 26 10 1829 age about15, the day of her marriage. There are, however 6mothers named Sarah & 2others who could be-which isn't helpful. ....However, Sarah (Hence) was born about 1814. He was issued his Conditional Pardon on 4 6 1819. He was an emancipist at Pitt Town when he married Catherine (Humphrey) of Pitt Town on 20 4 1824 at St Matthews CofE Windsor. He was Free by Servitude in 1826. He was recorded in 1828 & 1830 as a farmer.
