Occupation as at death was "Publican". Died at Young NSW from Dysentery which he had for three months prior to his death. His father's name was listed as "Eugene Hurley" who was a shoemaker by trade, and his mother was listed as "Ellen" maiden name "Swaine". His wife's name was listed as "Bridget Hurley" (nee Bourke). They were married at Tenterfield in 1849 and had nine children, being four daughters and fives sons.
