Absconded. Ivory Michael, No. 33-17, 18, Norfolk (3), Kilkenny, Labourer, 5 feet 4¾, bluish grey eyes, brown hair, ruddy much freckled comp. crucifix on right arm, from Robert Lowe, since 29th November. NSW Govt. Gazette, 18 Dec 1833. THE undersigned having become free on the 18th March, 1838, cautions all constables and others from arresting him. Description. - Age, twenty-four; height, five feet ten inches; hair, brown; eyes, grey; general remarks, crucifix right arm. (Signed) MICHAEL IVORY.

Michael was illiterate, single, 5'4¾" tall, ruddy and much freckled complexion, brown hair, bluish grey eyes, the crucifixion on right arm. Michael Ivory - Errand boy assigned to Robert Lowe at Bringelly. 15/8/1837: TOL Bathurst. 7/8/1839: COF 1851: Married Ann Sales/Scales at Clarence River, NSW. 1856: Clarence, NSW - Index to Registers of Town and Land Purchases - 2 acres of land at Clarence. 1/3/1867: Darlinghurst Gaol Description and Entrance Books: Michael Ivory received from Grafton for Medical Examination as to the state of his mind, suposed to be a lunatic. 7/3/1878: Michael died at the Liverpool Asylum for the Infirm and Destitute. Anne was 45 years old when Michael died and on 16/4/1880 married Charles Walker at Grafton. Anne died 21/10/1916 and was buried at the Rookwood Cemetery, Sydney, NSW.
