Liverpool Standard and General Commercial Advertiser Lancashire, England 8 Jul 1836 John Jackson, aged 14, for stealing some plate, the property of Mr. H. James Ames. John Jackson was listed as 15 years old on arrival. Native Place: Liverpool. John was literate, protestant, single, 5'1" tall, fair ruddy and freckled complexion, light brown hair, grey eyes, small mole right side of nose, raised mole right side of neck, two blue dots back of left hand, scar back of forefinger of same. 1837: Aged 15, Assigned to R.A. Rodd, Wollombi. 26/8/1839: Patrick Plains - John Jackson and Thomas Fawcett both assigned to R.A. Rodd. Sentenced to 7 days in the cells and then to be returned to their master for being absent without leave. 13/5/1840: Wollombi - Errand boy aged 18 from Liverpool. 5'1"; fair ruddy and freckled comp., light brown hair, grey eyes, small mole right side of nose, raised mole right side neck. Absconded from R.A. Rodd 1 May. 16/9/1840: Apprehended. 20/11/1843: COF - 24 years old, 5'5¾" tall.
