NSW Convict Death Register 1826-1879 (page 116) lists a Thomas James per the Lord Melville (3), who died in the Norfolk Island General Hospital on 11 April 1843. It is possible that this was an error and that it should have been written as Lord Melville (2), as there appears to not have been a Thomas James on the Lord Melville (3).
