Family connections for Esther Jane (Jenner) are: JENNER Esther Jane (Jenner) was born about 1887. She was tried at Old Bailey on 30 10 1805, sentenced to 7years, held at Middlesex Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW as a convict on 18 6 1807 after a voyage of 5.5months on SYDNEY COVE. She married Isaac (Dowse/Douce his first marriage) on 24 12 1807 at St Phillips CofE Sydney & produced 5children. She died on 27 7 1814 age about27 & was buried, as Esther (Doust), at St Phillips CofE Sydney. [Some details taken from this Website] Isaac (Dowse/Douce) was born about 1881/4. He was tried for horse theft, on 15 5 1800, at Old Bailey on 28 5 1800, sentenced to death commuted to Life, held probably at London or Middlesex Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW as a convict on 11 3 1803 after a voyage of 6.5months on HMS GLATTON. He was Free by Servitude by 1811. He had a second relationship with his servant Elizabeth (Symons) & produced 4children. He was recorded in 1820-an exbrickmaker-with a Conditional Pardon & a wife & 5children living with him & owning 50acres as petitioner for more land. He is recorded in 1825 at Airds & his family to be victualled from Liverpool. He was recorded in 1828 as brickmaker on 110acres with his family at Airds. He died on 11 11 1853 age69 father of 4children-mostly girls.
