Richard Jennett, Stewart Jennett, and Joseph Jennett, three young boys, were indicted for taking a quantity of lead, on 23d June last, from the house of Mr. George Phelps, of Moyallen ; and also for cutting and wounding Daniel Loughland, on the head at same time and place. The prisoners all pleaded Guilty to the different indictments. Richard and Stewart Jennett were sentenced each to 7 years’ transportation, and Joseph Jennett, the young boy, was sentenced to 18 months labour.  Newry Telegraph, 14 July 1842.

SUPREME COURT—CRIMINAL SIDE. TUESDAY, JULY, 25. John Demur and Stewart Jennett, were convicted on Wednesday of a nameless offence, committed at Port Arthur, on the 7th of July, and sentenced to death, without hope of mercy. Colonial Times, Hobart. 1 Aug 1843.
