In 1836 John Jobson married Eliza Weeks,who came free on the Red Rover, at Bungonia (near Goulburn). They had 15 children 11 boys and 4 Girls. The family were well known in the Goulburn region,some of the sons were considered a band of bushrangers, while others became respected membersof the community.
