Absconder George Johnston, per Oriental Queen, on the 4th instant, from the Gang employed in the Queen's Domain: undergoing a sentence of 6 years ; tried R.C. Launceston, 29th Dec 1868. Description--45 years old, 5 feet 2 1/2 inches high, (without shoes), fresh complexion, large head, brown hair, whiskers shaved off, round visage, high forehead, brown eyebrows, grey eyes, medium nose, wide mouth, broad chin, native place Nottinghamshire, a farm labourer, moles on left side of upper lip and near right temple, scar on right cheek near neck.
