The guard consists of Captain Bull (with Mrs. Bull, 4 children, and 1 female servant), and 30 rank and file of the 99th Regt., - 4 women, and 6 children. Colonial Times (Hobart) 25 Oct 1842.

Alan & Thos, 86th. James, 62nd. Conduct Report: https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON33-1-28$init=CON33-1-28p86 Sent to Point Puer Juvenile Penal Station. 6 Dec 1842. Absent without leave. 18 stripes on the breech. 19/7/44. Recommd. by the Commandant to another station as the Surgeon’s reports the climate is injurious to his health. 13.8.44. Sloper Island.
