Tried at the Old Bailey, 6 April 1826 841. DENNIS KELLY was indicted for stealing, on the 24th of February , 1 handkerchief, value 5s., the goods of Thomas Russell Drury , from his person . THOMAS RUSSELL DRURY. I am a printer , and live in the Strand. On the 24th of February, between eleven and twelve o'clock at night, I was in Long-acre , walking with my sister; I felt my handkerchief taken from my pocket, and turned round immediately; I saw the prisoner attempting to pass me with it in his hand; I collared him, and he threw it down by the door of a wine vaults - my sister picked it up. ISAAC SAYER . I am an officer. I have the handkerchief, and took the prisoner.(Property produced and sworn to). GUILTY. Aged 15.
